During the past 15 years, Mrs. Jane Caldwell and her husband, Peter, have had many wonderful holidays in Madeira. They have been impressed with the friendly and resilient people, but saddened by the poverty that exists on the island.
As a result, Mrs. Caldwell has written a novel called Frozen Stiff (a light-hearted, slightly romantic detective story) under the pen name of Agatha Frisky and has generously donated all proceeds from the sale of the book towards the “People Helping People” project – a charity to help the poor.
